In partnership with Aleada Consulting, we discuss GDPR and some practical advice on navigating through it for CSPs.
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will have a significant impact on cloud service providers (CSPs). This is due not only to the stringent data protection obligations that CSPs are subject to under GDPR but also because data processors must demonstrate compliance to their regulated customers, like financial institutions.
Although the new GDPR framework outlines the data protection expectations for data controllers, the obligations of data processors are far less clear.
In this webinar we:
- Discuss GDPR applicability to CSPs and the obstacles that they face in achieving compliance (i.e. vendor governance, appointing a Data Protection Officer, accommodating data controllers with the Right to be Forgotten)
- Share practical advice on key controls that CSPs can implement to satisfy their obligations
- Provide guidance on how CSPs can demonstrate GDPR compliance to their regulated customers
